Additionally, many solar companies offer financing options and there are also state and federal incentives available to help offset the cost.

It is also important to note that not all solar companies are created equal. Some use aggressive sales tactics and inflate prices with exorbitant dealer fees. But by doing your own research and calculations, consulting with a reputable and transparent solar installer, and verifying that you have a third-party warranty and assumable loan, you can ensure that you are making a sound financial decision.

In conclusion, as a homeowner aware of the threats too cheap energy from the grid, it is important to consider all options and not just dismiss solar energy out of hand. By educating yourself on the facts and working with reputable and transparent solar installers, you can achieve energy independence and significant savings on your electricity bills. Do not let myths and misconceptions hold you back from exploring the benefits of going solar.
